- Define product requirements and create architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems and platforms aligned with architecture vision,
- implement technical strategic decisions in cross functional teams,
- identify and mitigate risks during the development of new products,
- identify the most important architectural issues in the existing architecture and how to improve them,
- prioritize not only your own work, but also the technical issues, especially distinguishing between ‘urgent’ and ‘important’,
- balance the interests of the customer, the organization and the people, in creating an architecture that fulfils the requirements, matches the business goals, and is workable & implementable,
- apply new technologies, standards and methodologies that will have a positive impact on our company's bottom-line,
- provides technical guidance.
- 7+ Years of Experience
- Bachelor, Masters-level, or University degree, preferably business or IT-related
- Experience with complex problem-solving, and analytical thinking (instead of incident management, issue management)
- Strong consultancy, analytical and communications skills
- Proactive and effective communicator and organizer
- Expert level developer in one or more of: .Net Core / C#, Golang, Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Linux and infrastructure automation tools
- A proactive team player, make it happen attitude

Your role
As a Software Architect within LeasePlan Digital you will support teams as they develop new features which is aligned with global architecture vision. You work tirelessly to ensure the quality, security, scalability, maintainability and flexibility of our software platforms. You take ownership for technical designs, working closely with other architects and developers to ensure cross-tribe and cross-company alignment. You work with our QA engineers, product owners, infrastructure developers and other colleagues to ensure the technical vision is known and adhered to during development activities.
